I decided to put my skills and experience to use for myself and start my own VA practice. While I may be new in business, I am not new to the business. Having 25 years in the industry, I am experienced enough to be knowledgeable, knowledgeable enough to implement my experience to deliver professional, quality services. 
I have successfully mastered the Virtual Assistance program at Virtual Assistance U, and have worked in the following industries: - Insurance: Was a Team Leader for the Small Business Sales department of a prominent HMO for 10 years. Responsibilities included developing marketing collaterals, submitting proposals, training Benefit Administrators and Brokers, training/troubleshooting the Sales Support System software.
- Construction: Office Manager (bookkeeping, payroll, purchasing and billing)
