No, you team/partner with a VA who is an independent contractor, not an employee. Since the VA is not your employee, you don't pay employer paid taxes or benefits for them. Also, the VA only works with you when you need them, not a set number of hours each day like an employee.
Virtual Assistance U, International Assn of Virtual Assistants, (IAVOA), International Virtual Assistance Assn (IVAA), Alliance for Virtual Business (AFVB) to name a few.
Clients may call (toll free), email, fax, or use their secure Extranet website. Additionally, clients can "meet" with me using video conference.
A VA is a virtual administrative specialist that provides excellent remote (or off site) support when you need it. VA's may specialize in different areas, e.g., transcription, bookkeeping or accounting, web design/hosting, writing, computer services, or graphic design.
Usually clients submit work via e-mail, phone, fax, courier service, snail mail, or using our secure client Extranet site. For an example of how this work, please call me for a demonstration. | |
